Spring Break Tutorial #1

If your stuck at home and want to build some small tech projects than you've come to the right place. Today im going to tell you how to make a Claw. Yes it sounds weird but let me explain that this is a fun project if you have time.
(P.S. the pictures that will guide you are in CAD mode)
What you will need are

3 x 3mm bolt
3 x 3mm nylock
some multicore wire
some 3mm dowel
3 small pull springs
glue
a drill
a servo
4 x 4mm bolt
4 x 4mm nut
Then you will need to laser cut or any other way possible cut out these shape that are made of Wood.
Which look like this

>Then once you've gained your materials you assemble your base plates which should be three of them.
But you will allign the two that have the three circles that form a triangle and glue them to each other and you can use bolts to alligne them properly.

> Then you will glue the six smallest pieces from the paper design and glue them into the baseplates.

> Then you will bolt the serve into one of the two servo mounts with the 4mm bolts and nuts. Then turn the baseplates over and glue the two mounts in.

> Then you will cut 6 pieces of 3mm dowel to 50mm long, then you will insert them through the 6 outer holes on the two baseplates so that the ends are flush with the side opposite the servo. If you want to ensure a good fit sharpen the ends with a pencil.

> Then hook the 3 springs over alternate dowels, make sure they are the ones that sit between pairs of the jaw mounts then you finally add the 3rd final base plate onto the dowels.

> Then glue the two "wrist" pieces into the 3rd baseplates

>Then drill a small hole horinzontally into the hole nearest the center. Also fill into each side of the other hole, so the spring will fit around. Then feed the end of a piece of wire into the hole, and draw it out the side. Then tie a knot in the end, and push it back into the hole. Then, bolt each jaw between the jaw mounts with a bolt and nylock.

>Then bend the end of the spring enough to fit around the edge of the hole, before bending it back into place. Run th 3 jaw wires down the central hole and tie them through the holes in the serve head.

> Then the Final step is to enjoy you accomplishment
